45W GaN Charger With AI Display Adds PD3.2, AVS and UFCS

A recent teardown of a compact 45W gallium nitride charger with a single USB-C port shows how display modules are being integrated into travel-class adapters. The unit carries an AI status screen and supports PD3.2, PPS, AVS and UFCS in addition to mainstream fast-charge protocols.

Certification records list the model as E01247 under certificate 2026010907881549, issued on 16 July 2026 and valid through 15 July 2031. The charger accepts 100-240V input and offers fixed output steps of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/2.25A, for a 45W maximum.

The teardown described a stacked multi-board layout in which the switching power stage, protocol controller, MCU and display module sit on separate PCBs. That arrangement fits 45W output and on-screen interaction into a small enclosure.

The display reports charge power, battery level and temperature, and users can switch between smart, battery-care and performance charging modes.
