Magnetic Power Bank Certified to China's GB 47372-2026 Standard

A 5,000mAh magnetic power bank (model G5S-U) is certified against GB 47372-2026, which adds cell-safety, fault-logging, traceability and battery-health rules.

China's dedicated portable power bank safety specification, GB 47372-2026, is now showing up on certification records for magnetic models. A 5,000mAh magnetic power bank listed under model G5S-U was certified on 18 September 2026, with certificate 2026010914896149 recorded as currently valid.

The listing gives a full picture of the electrical design. Rated energy is 19.25Wh. USB-C input accepts 5V/3A and 9V/2A for a maximum of 18W, while wired output covers 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A and 12V/1.67A for up to 20W. Wireless charging is selectable at 5W, 7.5W, 10W or 15W, and simultaneous wired plus wireless use is capped at a combined 5V/3A.

Three mandatory standards are named on the certificate: GB 31241-2022, GB 4943.1-2022 and GB 47372-2026, the last being the specification written specifically for portable power banks. Certification under the new document means cell safety, abnormal-condition logging, product traceability and battery-health query functions are implemented to the revised requirements rather than the previous regime.

For magnetic power bank designs, that shifts work onto the firmware and protection side of the board, not just the cell and enclosure. Certified listings of this kind are the earliest public evidence that a product family has moved to the new specification, since the functional requirements are not visible from output ratings alone.

The practical read for overseas buyers sourcing magnetic power banks from China is that the new specification is being applied to shipping products in the 5,000mAh class, with 15W wireless and 20W wired output as the current performance envelope for that capacity.
