A new batch of hybrid power banks has completed 3C certification under China's GB 47372-2026 mobile power safety specification. Three models currently listed combine an AC adapter, a battery pack and a built-in USB-C cable in a single enclosure, with rated energy spanning 32Wh to 38.34Wh and maximum output reaching 65W or 67W.
The form factor is described as HPB, or Hybrid Power Bank. These products integrate an AC-DC conversion stage alongside battery storage, so the device works as a wall charger when plugged into mains and as a power bank once unplugged. Some designs add a captive cable, and higher-end versions can draw from the AC path and the battery together.
The first unit certified under the new standard is the TORRAS PB17D, certificate 2026010914891727, rated 32Wh. It accepts 100-240V AC input and delivers up to 65W from its USB-C port or built-in cable in adapter mode, dropping to 45W per path in power bank mode.
TORRAS PB33, certificate 2026010914892655, is rated 37.5Wh and adds a hybrid operating mode that lifts maximum output to 67W, with 45W per path in both adapter and battery operation. Xiaomi's AC1067, certificate 2026010914896366, was certified on September 20 with 38.34Wh and a retractable USB-C cable, and reaches a 20V/3.35A output profile of roughly 67W.
On the AC1067, both the retractable cable and the USB-C port can also accept input in power bank mode. Compliance with the new standard extends beyond output ratings to cell safety, fault-information logging, product traceability and battery-health queries, which are now part of the certification requirements.
