Jiedian, a Chinese shared power bank operator, is moving into retail hardware with the NY-CDD01, a hook-mounted power bank aimed at commuting and light travel. The unit is rated 36.5Wh with a maximum total output of 55W and carries 3C certification.
The design pairs a spring-loaded ring hook with a built-in retractable flat USB-C cable measuring about 68cm against a 70cm nominal figure; the cable works for both input and output. A second bidirectional USB-C port sits on the opposite side next to an oval power button. Measured size is 83.69 x 51.81 x 38.19mm and weight is 233.3g.
The cable supports UFCS 1.2, PD3.0 and PPS, plus QC, FCP, SCP and AFC. Fixed PDOs are 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/2.75A, with a 5-11V/3A PPS range; UFCS adds 5-11V/3A and 5.5-11V/3A ranges. Self-charging was measured at 32.5W over PD.
The cable delivered 43.41W to an iPhone 18 Pro Max, 37.97W to an iPad Pro M5 and 53.15W to a MacBook Pro 16 over PD, while an OPPO Find X9 Ultra drew 23.7W over UFCS and a Xiaomi 15 Pro 24.25W over PPS. With two outputs active, the cable supplied 14.03W and the second USB-C port 2.18W.
A full charge used a 70W charger: about 35.8W for 27 minutes, then 25.8W for 33 minutes before tapering. It reached 20% in 13 minutes, 50% in 37 minutes and 80% in 65 minutes, for 1 hour 36 minutes.
Over a USB data connection the unit exposes a battery-monitoring dashboard reporting state of health, cycle count, per-cell voltages and temperatures, based on dual INR21700/50E cells. In pass-through operation the pack self-charges at 28.76W but the second USB-C port does not output.
