A Chinese fast-charging chip vendor lists 38 devices with PD3.2 SPR AVS support, from 30 W power bank SoCs to 140 W multi-port DC-DC controllers.

Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max add PD3.2 SPR AVS support, and faster wired charging now requires a USB-C adapter rated 60 W or higher that also supports the AVS protocol. Testers measured both models negotiating SPR AVS, reaching about 50% charge in roughly 15 minutes.
SPR AVS is a variable-voltage capability inside the USB PD 3.2 standard power range. Instead of a fixed voltage set, the adapter adjusts its output voltage dynamically to what the device requests, giving finer control over the charging curve.
That makes AVS support in protocol ICs and power bank SoCs important for adapting third-party accessories to the new phones. One Chinese fast-charging chip vendor says 38 of its chips now cover PD3.2 SPR AVS, spanning power bank SoCs, multi-port DC-DC fast-charge SoCs, charging protocol ICs and bidirectional protocol ICs, from 30 W power bank designs to 140 W multi-port products.
For power banks, 16 SoCs span single-cell, 2-3S and 2-6S packs with 30 W to 100 W output. Single-cell 30 W designs use the SW6256, SW6257 and SW6258; the SW6316 and SW6318 serve 2-3S products at 45 W; the SW630X family adds 2-6S options, with SW6308 and SW6308V at up to 45 W and SW6301, SW6302, SW6303, SW6306, SW6306V and SW6309S at up to 100 W. SW6258 and SW6328 support TFT displays.
Eight multi-port models support SPR AVS, mainly the SW356X family plus the SW3578 and SW3536. SW3536, SW3560 and SW3562 target A+C dual-port designs up to 140 W, while SW3561, SW3566, SW3568, SW3569 and SW3578 cover C+C dual USB-C layouts from 100 W to 140 W. These parts integrate synchronous buck control with several fast-charge protocols for car and desktop chargers.
