REVIEWReview: Lenovo CC100 100W GaN Charger Uses AHB Buck Architecture
Lenovo's CC100 is a three-port 100W GaN adapter pairing an AHB hybrid-buck stage with 1.5x peak output, measuring 70 x 70 x 30.5 mm and weighing 240.7 g.

Lenovo's CC100 is a 100W USB-C GaN power adapter aimed at laptops, phones and tablets, and it follows the company's earlier 150W commercial GaN design. The unit uses an AHB adaptive hybrid buck converter stage and is rated for 1.5x peak power output, a margin intended to absorb short load bursts from gaming laptops and AI PC modes.
The adapter carries three USB-C ports. C1 and C2 each deliver up to 100W on their own, while C3 tops out at 22.5W, and when several ports are loaded the unit allocates power dynamically across them. The company states the output is free of interference and that the chassis does not produce a tingling sensation in the hand.
Claimed operating behaviour includes no output derating at elevated temperature and stable operation at altitudes up to 5,000 m. The adapter ships with a 100W braided C-to-C cable, and the matte-black case has foldable pins that store into the body.
Measured with calipers, the body is 30.52 mm thick, 70.23 mm wide and 69.99 mm long, and it weighs 240.7 g on a scale, roughly palm-sized. The three USB-C ports sit in a row with enough spacing for several cables to be plugged in at once.
The package carries CE, UKCA, FCC, UL, EAC and CCC marks and declares compliance with standard QHDLCS 0149-2026. Specifications list 100W on C1 and C2 and 22.5W on C3, plus smart power sharing for dual- and triple-port use. For GaN adapter buyers, the combination of AHB topology, peak-power headroom and multi-port allocation is the main design reference point.
