The SW6318 is a four-port, multi-protocol bidirectional buck-boost power-bank SoC that integrates four H-bridge NMOS power devices. A four-switch buck-boost stage, fast-charge protocol handling, fuel gauging and multi-port control all sit on the same die, with output rated up to 45W in either direction.
Integrating the power MOSFETs removes the external buck-boost power stage, cutting the component count around the battery. The part is packaged in PLP_QFN46 measuring 6 x 5.5mm, a footprint aimed at slim power banks where board area is the binding constraint.
It supports two or three cells in series and is compatible with ternary lithium, lithium iron phosphate and sodium-ion chemistries. A two-cell configuration defaults to 30W input and output, a three-cell build to 45W, with an input range of 4-22V and an output range of 3.3-22V.
Protocol support covers USB PD, PPS, UFCS, SCP, FCP, AFC and QC, and the part holds PD3.2 DRP certification including SPR AVS. That allows a one-A-three-C port layout, simultaneous multi-port output and pass-through charging while the pack itself is being charged.
Peripheral blocks include a high-precision coulomb counter, a 12-bit ADC and an I2C interface for capacity learning, voltage and current monitoring and charge-parameter configuration; it can drive LEDs or a 188-style segment display directly. Beyond power banks built to the new Chinese national standard, the SoC is positioned for Bluetooth speakers and power-tool battery packs, where it is offered as an alternative to the SW6301 and SW6308.
